MemProfiler.IsProfiling returning false when using Attach

Just like the subject says, MemProfiler.IsProfiling is returning false when I use "Attach to Process". It works fine when starting the profiled application from visual studio using Profiler -> Start Memory Profiler.

When the profiler attaches to a process, the profiler will only passively analyse the memory usage of the process. The profiler will not affect the attached process in any way, and therefore the profiled process is not aware of being profiled. In order to use the profiler API, you need to start the process from the profiler.
