MemProfiler API class: how do you actually save a snapshot?

Post by pnschofield » Tue Aug 07, 2007 3:42 pm

Can someone provide an example of how to capture a snapshot and save it to disk using the MemProfiler API?

Thanks,

When collecting a snapshot using the API, the snapshot is saved in a temporary session file. The final session file is not created until the session is ended. There is currently no API method that causes a session file to be created while profiling, it can only be done using the UI (File->Save Session As...).

We will add the possibility to save the session file programmatically in a future version (possibly in v3.1).
