We're currently running v22.214.171.124 (Professional), monitoring unmanaged resources since we have leaks in our app. The feature is great, but how do we activate it from the command line? We have started writing unit tests specifically aimed at tracking down memory leaks, and need to know how to turn this feature on. We read the documentation, and checked all availble command line options, but didn't find any that seems to do this.
However, the recommended way of specifying session settings is by using a profiler project. All you have to do is to create a profiler project, define the session settings and save it. You can then use the command line parameter "/project" to specify the profiler project you want to use. If you specify additional parameters on the command line, they will override the parameters in the project. So you can for instance use the same project to profile different applications, by providing a "/program" parameter.
