How to generate a report from a session.

Post by tysoho » Thu Jul 06, 2006 4:43 pm

Is there an automated way to generate a "report" from a profiling session?

version: 2.6.88.0

Thank you,
TY

I ask this because I thought I read somewhere that there was a report feature. I need something that I can archive to demonstrate that the software was tested for leaks and how, but the session file is too bulky and of course would require .NET Profiler to open.

Thanks Again,
TY

Hi,

The current version of the profiler does not contain a report feature. This is something that will be included in a future release (v3.0 or possibly v3.1). Currently the only way to "create" reports is to manually copy the data from the profiler using the "Edit->Copy" or "Edit->Copy All" commands.
