I just had to repave a machine which had Memory Profiler 3.1 working just fine within VS2010. Now, I've reinstalled and registered (3.1 Pro) but there is no longer a "Profile" menu in Visual Studio (2010 Ultimate w/ SP1 applied).
If I run the stand-alone MP profiler, it will not detect that our WPF app has actually launched (it does, the main window is open by MP is still waiting/watching). So that's not an option for me now either...
I suspect that it's b/c I used to have VS2008 then upgraded to 2010 and the Profiler integation came along for free?? But now I only have 2010 but can't profile. Any help out there?
A version 3.1 license is freely upgraded to a version 3.5 license. .NET Memory Profiler 3.5 has support for Visual Studio 2010 and .NET Framework 4.0. You can download the latest 3.5 version from the bottom of the download page and use the registration key from v3.1.
