Memory Profiler Crashes

Post by brajeshkumar69 » Tue Jul 12, 2005 2:31 am

I am using Memory Profiler to profile my application and it crashes.
When I see the crash report, it has allocated lot of String Objects in Real Time->Classes tab.
Name :- String
Total Instances :- 11870
Live Instances :- 2966
Total Bytes :- 511,248
Live Bytes:- 169,284
Allocs/Sec:- 11,100.17
Bytes/Sec :- 1,686,950.07

Any help to run it without crash would be appreciated.

Do you get any additional information? In what way does it crash? Does it just exit, or do you get an error message? What version of the CLR runtime are you using? What version of the profiler are you using?

One feature that could cause problems in your application is root referee identification (it uses inproc debugging which is not 100% stable in all applications). Do you still experience problems if you disable inproc debugging?

Is it possible for you to send us a repro of the problem? If it is, you can send it so
