Is license transferable between machines?
My company may buy one Memory Profiler license, the question is: if one developer stops using it, can we uninstall Memory Profiler from his machine and install onto another, for another developer to use? Any limitations or conditions to expect on a license transfer like this?
I've seen Andreas replying that transfer between machines and deveopers is OK but it was 6 years ago.
Andreas, is anything changed since 2007? Is Memory Profiler license still fully transferable between machines and users, without restrictions?

Re: Is license transferable between machines?
.NET Memory Profiler is licensed per named user and you are allowed to install the software on as many machines as necessary. So there's no need to transfer the license from one machine to another. However, if another user is going to use the software, he needs a license of his own. You can transfer a license from one user to another, by removing the old user using the online license manager.
Note that the possibility to remove a user is intended for cases where users are replaced, or are moving between departments or projects. A user cannot be removed unless he has been added for at least three months so this cannot be used as a floating license. For more information, see the licensing FAQ.

Thanks Andreas! So one can say it can be used as a sort of a floating license except that the "floating" period is not less than three months per user.

Yes, I guess you can say that a named license can be used as floating license with a "floating period" of not less than three months.
