Can't compare two dump files

Post by twenzel » Tue May 05, 2015 6:20 am

I can't compare two dump files (creates with nmpCore).
After I imported the first dump file the "File\Import Memory dump.." command is disabled. So I clicked on "Profiler\Collect Snapshot" to import the second dump file. At 60% of the import process ("Reporting instances") the application (".NET Mrory Profiler ProfilerAttach") crashes.

Please provide a fix for this.
Is there any other option to compare two dump files?

Thanks for reporting this issue. We have confirmed that an error can occur when importing an additional memory dump. We are working on a fix and will hopefully release the fix within a few days.

Now there's a new version available that should work better when importing multiple memory dumps. It has not yet been officially released, but you can download it from:

http://cdn.memprofiler.com/download/Mem ... 5_0_79.exe

Can you download this version and see if it works better?
