Profile IIS without restart all pools

Post by sungam3r » Wed Oct 19, 2016 12:38 pm

We have 25 application pools on our production server. Only one web app (web api project) suffers from memory leak. Memory is constantly growing up to 1.5 Gb. Can we profile only this site without restarting IIS and all other applications?

It is not currently not possible to profile only a single IIS application pool process without restarting IIS. However, this is clearly a useful feature and we will investigate if that's something we can implement in a future version.

In the meantime you can at least attach to the application pool worker process (using "Attach to running process"). Unfortunately, this limits the amount of information collected by the profiler.
