Graph of Rootp paths

Hi. While I was going through collected data of a leaking program, I got this idea:

It would be really useful to have a graph of Root paths of an instance.

I am looking for a leak, but the monster I am debugging is too complicated to walk through all referenced instances etc. But if there was this graph one could see how the Root paths of the instance changed after it should have been freed. I believe this would make finding leaks much faster.

I've got quite an idea how this could work and how this would be used. If someone would like me to describe this in more detail, send me a PM.

Thank you for the suggestion. We're actually currently investigating ways of visualizing different aspects of the snapshot data. Presenting root paths in a graph is an important part of this visualization.

If you have an idea on how this could work, we would love to hear about it. You can either send a PM to me, or you can send an e-mail to
