NmpCore and console colours

Post by LonelyPixel » Tue Apr 10, 2012 1:01 pm

I've noticed once when running NmpCore that it prints several empty lines and a few lines with yellow-coloured text to the console window. I guess the empty lines are in fact not so empty but rather invisible in my white-background console window. So I would suggest that if the programme changes the foreground colour of its output, it should also set the background colour so that the text remains visible (and readable, which is not quite given for yellow on white text). Or that at least such colours are used that are well readable on black (traditional) and white (modern, good for the eyes) background.

You are correct, we set the foreground color on some of the printed text in NmpCore. We will make sure that we set the background color as well (or select more appropriate text colors) in the next version.

Thanks for the feedback.
