Common Language Runtime detected an invalid program

Post by zachr » Fri Mar 18, 2005 12:19 am

I get this message:

Common Language Runtime detected an invalid program

Whenever Dispose() is called on one of my objects. I have ran peverify and it said everything was OK. This error only happens when the profilier is running, if I run the application outside of the profiler it works great. Also, it runs fun on version 2.0 of the profiiler, I just upgraded to 2.5 today and that is when the error started.

There currently exists an issue with the dispose tracker, where you sometimes get an InvalidProgramException.

We're looking into this issue and will hopefully solve it soon. If you have a small program that reproduces this behaviour, we would appreciate if you could send it to us (at support@scitech.se).

In the meantime, you will need to disable the dispose tracker in order to avoid this error.

I don't have a small program that reproduces the error, I haven't looked into it too much. If I find anything I will let you know.
