Access to a class by keyboard

Post by Olivier Fermy » Tue Jan 10, 2006 10:41 am

It would be great if, like in Windows Explorer tree, we can access to a class by typing its name with keyboard. It's faster and easier than using the scrollbar when you have a long list of classes.

It is possible that we will add some way of looking up classes by typing names in the Classes list. However, the fast class filter feature (the text boxes below the Namespace and Class name columns) provides similar functionality, since it allows you to quickly find the classes you're interested in.

I haven't seen these text boxes for finding quickly a class. Great !! Thank you.

TextBoxes

Perhaps it would be better, if the TextBoxes were at the top of the columns. It would be easier to find them.

In v3.0 of the profiler, the filter text boxes will be on top of the columns.
