Garbage collection tracing

Post by ganeshkps » Mon Jun 10, 2019 6:31 am

Hi,
I have collected some data with trial version of memory profiler. Please see its screenshot attached. How can I tell from it how much duration did the Garbage collection process lasted? Also the Y axis says "count". It represents the count of what actually? Couldn't find these info from documentation hence checking in the forum

The current version of .NET Memory Profiler does not provide timing information for garbage collections. (Garbage collection timing and other performance data will be included in version 6.0 of the profiler).

The count on the y-axis in the screenshot represents the number of garbage collections. In this screenshot, 2 full garbage collections have been performed (i.e. the number of gen #0, #1, and #2 collections are all 2).
