Save Session window - v5.6

Post by Harag » Wed Mar 28, 2018 4:09 pm

Hi

As I'm currently doing a lot of profiling while I test out the application, I've found that when I decide to save the session I've just done and have over 28 snapshots I've found that the "Save Session" screen when it prompts me to select the snapshots I wish to save, the window is higher than my monitor - there is currently no scroll bar so I can scroll down and uncheck any after the 28th one. :(

I'm not sure if others would normally take this many snapshots.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. It should of course be possible to save a session with over 28 snapshots, it's just something we have forgot to test. We will fix this in the next release.

You're welcome.

I can take 100 snapshots no problem and all of them are saved when I save the profile - because they are all ticked by default in the window that pops up. I can see how it's something you forgot to test, take 10 shots, screen looks ok etc. release - we do it all the time as well :)

Just pointing out that the window doesn't actually scroll and I can only see the first 28. :)

Now we have built a release of .NET Memory Profiler where it's possible to scroll the list of available snapshots when saving the session.

The latest build is not yet officially released, but you can download it from

Nice! Thanks for the link. I'll take a look at that this week.
